Jesus knows the disciples do not understand what He says. He tells them that they will be sad, but then they will rejoice. He would die, but He would live again. Through His sacrifice, we are saved, and we also can have joy from this. Jesus Christ has brought us from death to life. He has redeemed His people, and even the world is rejoicing. Through Christ, all creation will be restored along with us, and that is something to be excited about.
