Luke 2:11-14

If you do not like to be scared, it would not have been a good night for you in Bethlehem. First the angel of the Lord appeared, and then came a multitude of heavenly host praising God. This was not what a group of simple shepherds might expect on a normal night with the flocks.
Glory to God in the Highest. The angels sang out to God the glory worthy of His name. He had come to earth to save His enemy and those who had no hope except in His mercy. It is to God’s glory that He would love us enough to come to redeem us.
Peace be among those with whom He is pleased. With whom is God pleased? He is pleased with those who believe in His son, who trust in Christ and follow Him. Are you among those with whom God is pleased? Do you have peace with God?
